I found this DIY Superhero Cape tutorial on TheSouthernInstitute.com, an awesome craft blog, and had to try it. I do not sew, and I’m not crafty, but think I am and have a stockpile of craft supplies from various projects. I had some fabric glue for some reason, which made this costume possible.
It was too hot for his Giraffe costume, which is adorable but basically a snowsuit for sub-zero temperatures, so I made this costume instead for the party. It took about 20 minutes. I had the Superman t-shirt for him already. Very simple! I just used two old t-shirts, scissors and the glue. Check out the tutorial on TheSouthernInstitute.com!
