I discovered the absolute coolest app for the iPhone – WebMD Baby. You’d think it would be a symptom checker like their regular app sending new moms into a hypochondriac frenzy, but it’s not. It is a tracker of everything for baby – feedings, growth chart, firsts, photos, and sleep. And it’s all organized in such a cool way!
I wish I’d had it when he was born – the feeding app has a timer, has left/right for breast feeding, and let’s you record it all so easily. Same with sleep. I had this notebook in a bag that I toted around with me and tried to decipher.
The milestones section let’s you record first words by month, favorites (books, toys, food, games), and allows you to take a picture with each one.
The growth chart lets you plug in height and weight and a photo at each doctor’s visit.
Maybe it’s just the data nerd in me, but I love the way this app keeps track of all of the moments that are so special in a baby’s growth and development. Plus, it has lots of information to answer all of the questions every new mom has. I even emailed the company to see if they would add a “print” option to turn it into a book!
Since printing is not an option (yet), here is a great deal from my favorite photo book company:
Happy Mother’s Day: 50% off photo books from MyPublisher
