No question about it: animal apps are a very big hit with our 2 year old. We have downloaded a lot of them (animal apps for kids seems to be very popular in the App store!!) and these are the ones that our son chooses and plays over and over again.
Peek A Zoo for iPad: Animals “hide” and appear on the screen when you tap on it. Simple & fun!
Hello Animals for iPad: Some of the other “interactive picture books” feature animals that make noise but don’t move – not as cool as this one. There are four scenes- forest, sea, farm & savanna – and the animals move AND pop out when you tap on them.
Peekaboo Barn: this was our first iPhone app, and it has been an attention-holding lifesaver in many situations. It’s very simple, and just requires a few taps to see a different farm animal!
Peekaboo Wild: Same as Peekaboo Barn, but not in a barn and with different animals.
