Sometimes, I spend much more time trying to find the perfect organization solution rather than actually doing any organizing at all.
So in my quest to find the best way to meal plan… and the quest took longer than writing down an actual meal plan… I discovered the Mealboard app.
It allows you to add meals each day that you plan to make, and adds the ingredients to your grocery list. How SIMPLE. Plus, you can add recipes from all of the popular sites like All Recipes or add your own. For example, I added in all of my favorite Lee Brothers recipes (actually I added the ingredients and instead of writing out the instructions put the page number in the notes section), found asparagus recipes (and other recipes with vegetables, fruits, etc. I already had) and built a meal plan. All of the ingredients from the recipes I chose to were added to my grocery list. Brilliant!!
I like this app better than the other recipe apps I’ve used because you’re not limited to the websites’ recipes and you can add your own – generating a meal plan for the week and a grocery list.
Cooking has to be simple for me to fit it into my day! Here’s a link to recipes for a simple grilled night out >
What are your favorite simple recipes that you add to your weekly meal plan? I would love to add more to my collection!
