Depending on whose advice you listen to, what books you read, what websites you use, you will start feeding your baby solid food around 6 months. This requires a high chair. We still feed ours in a high chair (he’s 3) because it’s a self-contained area and he still likes it. We purchased the Fisher Price Space Saver high chair, which is a travel high chair, and never got a “real” one for our house. It’s worked perfectly fine. However, there are some adorable options and I absolutely love these pretty high chairs from Layla Grayce:
Classic High Chairs
If you love Peter Pan collars, white knee socks and classic white shoes like I do, you’ll probably love these classic high chairs that look like they fit in a kitchen from 1960 – they will never go out of style and I think they would add to your dining room decor:
This preppy & nautical high chair is available on Layla Grayce – don’t you love the anchor!?

Practical High Chair
As I mentioned, we use the Fisher-Price Space Saver High Chair as our regular high chair and it’s worked just fine. I like the removable tray that is easy to hose down in the sink, and if we go someplace, it’s really easy to unstrap from the chair and take it with us. It’s available on Amazon.
