Cute Crib Bedding.

In my opinion, crib bedding adds the most personality to nursery decor, and is the most fun to select. (Disclaimer: I do believe that, but my big fabric focal point in our nursery was actually the drapes and not the crib bedding, but I really didn’t know where to search for crib bedding so I kept it simple with all white.)

The Best Crib Sheets

When it comes to crib bedding, you have many styles, colors, and themes from which to choose but there is one item I would like to strongly recommend: the Clouds & Stars QuickZip crib sheet set.

Zipper Crib Sheets

Clouds & Stars QuickZip Crib Sheet Set

These crib sheets are essential to your sanity. If you don’t want to mess with pulling out the mattress in the middle of the night to change the crib sheets, get these sheets that simply zip on and off. I recommend getting one sheet set and 4 extra zipped sheets for quick & easy sheet changing.

Navy & White Crib Bedding

This is very similar to the Pottery Barn crib bedding set we have in our nursery.  I love the simplicity of the stripes.  I think it looks great with dark wood – but it also looks pretty with white furniture.

Aqua Chevron Print

I think aqua is the perfect gender-neutral color.  Add navy accents for a baby boy nursery or pops of coral or pink for a baby girl’s nursery.  It is my very favorite color – specifically, Jamaican Aqua paint by Benjamin Moore!

gray and turquoise chevron cribbedding

Gray & Turquoise Chevron Print Crib Bedding

I love the gray with a pop of color – and this shade of turquoise is really pretty. I think it would look better with white furniture.  A coral chair or accessories would update this to a little girl’s room, and accessorizing with boy art on the walls would update this to a boy nursery.

Tips for Choosing the Right Crib Bedding

  • Some articles I read (after I purchased the bedding) claim that bumpers are unnecessary and present potential dangers. Research it and make your own decision, but when my son learned how to roll over, he became a roly poly in the crib and I was glad there were bumpers to cushion his momentum.
  • Some claim that white crib bedding is a bad idea. We’ve never had a problem with our all-white choice. It’s never been an issue.
  • I highlighted it at the top, but I’d like to reiterate: the QuickZip Crib Sheet Sets are the best. You may not have the color and pattern choices of normal crib sheets – but changing them is very simple. Especially if you get bumpers, removing that crib mattress is going to be a pain. Zipping is easy. Mattress removal and struggling to put on a fitted sheet is not. Especially in the middle of the dark night when you’re half-awake.
