Thank you to California Closets for sponsoring this post!
I want to share my DIY necklace and scarf closet organization project for two reasons 1) I rarely have a DIY organization idea and 2) my necklaces and scarves have remained organized for the past month because this really is an easy way to store accessories. I’m particularly proud of this little section of my closet wall:
This organization project was hatched when I saw scarves on display at one of my favorite shops in Myrtle Beach, Bijuju. All of their scarves were hanging in a row on a pole attached to the wall. And another store had necklaces hanging from the wall on a board with nails. Lightbulb! So I purchased a cheap curtain rod and a bulletin board with tacks and created my own version for my closet.
I don’t really thing I need to go into the steps here, but if you really need further explanation: hang the bulletin board on your closet wall. Below that, hang the curtain rod. Drape scarves over the curtain rod. Use push pins to hang up your necklaces on the board. Voila! Organized.
Next up for my dream closet? Shoes that are all lined up in a row like this:
A place where all of my shoes have a home would be amazing. Instead, they are herded into the back of the closet on a make-shift metal shoe thing that really doesn’t do a thing to keep my shoes organized. Look at that gorgeous wooden shelf! My shoes would be so happy. They would just sit there, next to each other… relaxing on that beautiful wooden shelf all day, each in their own designated spot. I love California Closet’s selection of great quality closet organizers that are as functional as they are pretty.
Thanks to my sponsor, California Closets! In our first home, we inherited a California Closet designed closet, and I loved the attention to detail and places to store everything in a pretty, organized way. Check out their custom closet designs – the kids room designs are amazing!! I was compensated for the post, but all opinions, etc. are my own.
