One of the things I LOVE about having a blog is getting to do fun product reviews. I have been offered some very weird things to review, and have gotten some terrible PR pitches, and I usually ignore those rather than initiate a conversation only to have to tell the person the same answer that I knew from the beginning which is “no.” AND then someone sends me an email with a product like this that I never knew existed, and it’s a palm-to-forhead moment like DUH of course I need that and why have I been carrying groceries without one for so long!? Let me present to you the Mighty Handle:
It’s a hook with a handle for your groceries so you don’t have to pile them on one arm only to forget one handle of the third bag from your armpit and have everything fly out. It keeps it all together, and makes carrying a lot of bags very manageable. My husband was not as excited as I was about the handle until he tried it and said “you know, this thing actually does work” — and the other day, he went to get groceries and he did not have the Mighty Handle because it lives in my purse, and as he was unpacking said “I need the Mighty Handle!” So it clearly has made an impression on him, finally.
Also, another unforeseen advantage to using the Mighty Hook: it keeps your groceries all in one place in your car. No sprawling bags. YAY.
PS – anyone else have kids into Mighty Machines? It’s a Canadian show about machines like construction equipment, tow trucks, farm equipment, recycling equipment (I’ve seen a lot of episodes, OK?!) and it has THE BEST THEME SONG EVER (which includes part of my post’s headline, which is why I even bring this up). My son loves to belt it out when he’s on the back of my bicycle, which is hilarious.
