Blurb Photo Book Designer Template Review

blurb book review

Blurb just launched Designer Photo Book Templates  making creating a photo book easier than ever – with pretty, clean designs and the simplicity of choosing photos from sites I’d already shared photos, it took me about 20 minutes to create this book.  When presented with too many choices, I usually abandon the project, getting overwhelmed with selecting photos, uploading them, picking the right graphics, etc. That’s great for a perfectionist with a lot of time – but these templates are already pretty with little details allowing you to focus on choosing the perfect photos and nothing else.

Creating the photo book is simple.

Creating this photo book really took me less than 20 minutes.  Blurb has another option using software called “Booksmart” – which I’ve used before, too (you can check out my review here).  However, I loved the simplicity of the online version called Bookify for this easy photo book.

  • Click on over to Blurb’sDesigner Photo Book page to get started.  Choose “get started” and then choose “Make a Designer Photo Book.” You have other options, too – make an Instagram book, a Facebook photo book, or a custom photo book.
  • I chose the Catalina design.
  • Importing the photos is fantastic because you have so many choices from popular sharing sites! Your choices are your computer, Flickr, SmugMug, 500px, Zenfolio, Picasa, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Then you simply choose the photos you’d like to include in the book, and drag them to the page!

Blurb Photo Book is quality.

I was so excited to receive my book! I upgraded the page quality (fancy!) The book is a great, small size – and the pages are thick and a little bit shiny.  I absolutely love the book and plan to create more.
