Welcome to Day One of my Photo of the Day Project. I started one on Flickr, but honestly, got all out of whack so I’m starting over.
This project is an attempt to improve my photography in addition to reading my Canon Rebel for Dummies book, watching the DVD Great Courses series, and the other photography apps I’ve downloaded. I’m going to take photos every day, which I think I can do since I take a lot of photos for work everyday. And, I take a lot (probably too many) of Thomas.
Today’s Photo of the Day:
Gordon Biersch launched a new menu on Tuesday and invited me to check out some of their new menu items. Not wanting to be rude, I obliged. The baja tacos with steak are amazing. They are intended to be an appetizer but make a great lunch. One of the things I’m learning is that great photos require great light – so you have to “seek out the great light” – a task which is not always so easy. I put this plate by a window but away from the glare.
