BabbaBox Review: Crafts delivered

Babba Box

Every mom knows that a series of activities is the key to a fun & successful day with a pre-schooler. Playgrounds, play dates, trips to the Children's Museum, toy time, and other random activities are all a part of our weekends. When it rains… we need to improvise. That's why having a BabbaBox around is an excellent back-up plan without having to actually spend time planning.

BabbaCo delivers crafts and activities for kids 3 – 7 right to your front door. There is no need to search Pinterest, create a list, head over to Michaels looking for obscure supplies, or waste any time/gas money: BabbaBox is delivered right to you, with supplies and instructions included in the box. Each BabbaBox contains for key elements: 2 – 3 creative projects, theme based product to use for exploring, a story book, and an app download.

The January theme was very appropriate: Get Organized! It included items for both my son (3) and me (mom). The creation projects were a kids' clothesline art gallery and art supplies organizer. The explore project is a ThredUp bag, which is a cool company that is basically an online kids clothing consignment shop. The story book was “Max Cleans Up”- a Max & Ruby book, which he absolutely LOVES, and the app is Toca House. It also included a Real Simple guide on conquering clutter.

He had a blast with the paints (this was our first painting project at our house) – I put him in a painting smock to attempt to prevent a gigantic mess, which he was surprisingly amenable to wearing, and he painted his art supply organizer with the red and blue paint. He loved to choose the color and dip the paintbrush in the paint. Another shock: he actually painted what he was supposed to, and not the rest of the garage. babbabox The other craft project was actually perfect for me: the clothesline wall art. I recently reorganized our garage into a playroom, and needed to fill up the space on the wall. This looks great in our garage – and our son loves to see his artwork on display. babbaco clothesline art gallery
