Having a daughter is delightful for many reasons, one of which is matching Lilly Pulitzer outfits.
We currently have two matching Lilly outfits. Too much? I think not. Having a baby adorned in Lilly and a Beaufort Bonnet Company bonnet is like accessorizing with a fabulous Tory Burch bag, but waaaaaaay cuter. You’ll get stopped frequently and be forced to listen to how “cute” and “adorable” and “precious” your baby is, which will never, not even in a trillion years, get old.
We made our debut in matching sailboat ensembles at the Salty Dog Cafe in Hilton Head, and will certainly have fun throughout the summer wearing our coordinating outfits. She’s too young to protest that she doesn’t want to dress like her mother.
Matching for mom | The Lilly Linen Beach Pant are currently the most comfortable AND flattering pants I own. The print and the style conceal the fact that they are lounge pants. These are perfect for happy hour, birthday parties and running to Target – I’m not sure another pants I own can be so stylishly versatile. Available on LillyPulitzer.com.
And I got this adorable picture of her sitting in my dad’s lap and completely messed up the focus, which is on the bow instead of her eyes. Grrrrr. Focus, focus, focus. Beaufort Bonnets are the best, and this pink and white one matches all of her outfits. I was stopped by a cute family, and the mom asked about her Beaufort Bonnet and where I purchased it (online) and she said they were from the town where they are made, and of course commented how adorable my little baby girl is.
