I have a slight obsession with Jude Connally dresses – flattering styles with colorful, fun patterns on fabric that does not wrinkle annnnd if that’s not enough – machine washable! I’m serious! I wear them to work, on the weekends, almost always when I fly, and pack them in suitcases. They are pretty, versatile, and well-constructed dresses. (Notice the pun on construction. You have two more sentences until you get an explanation.)
This one came from my mom’s closet. Since you can’t steal from her closet … you can shop it online or support a local business and head over to the Pink Cabana in Myrtle Beach, which is where I had the good fortune for my mom to find it.
Notice the background of the photo? We’re building a house, and we checked out the progress of the construction in our Sunday best. We have walls, windows, trim on the windows, some crown molding, and about 75% of the house has siding. I haven’t posted many pictures on the blog but you can follow along on instagram. Now that it’s coming together, I’ll be sharing a lot more!
