Do y’all want to cook healthy dinners during the week that aren’t bland and boring?
I swear: it’s doable.
A few years ago, the drama of “what’s for dinner” (usually daily around 3 p.m.) would end up being “take-out from _____” because trying to figure out a recipe + inconvenience of visiting the grocery store just felt impossible.
Then we started ordering Plated, which taught me to cook restaurant-worthy meals in my own kitchen with fresh ingredients delivered to my doorstep. Blue Apron gets all of the publicity, but this little company has been delivering killer dinners in our house for years, and we love it.
I’ve loved to learn making gourmet meals with fresh ingredients, and have made my favorites again and again. It’s like a home-schooled culinary education, without harsh instructors (or student loans!) Bonus: your culinary creations are instagramable.
8 weeks should be a good introduction to master a repoirtoire of recipes to venture out on your own and cook similar healthy meals during the week if you’re not interested in the service long-term.
If you do like recipes and ingredients delivered, the app allows you to plan your meals for the following week by selecting how many servings, how many meals, and which meals you want to cook – and, you have the option to skip. Most importantly, it stores all of your past recipes so you can make your favorites again!
